Beijing Daxing International Airport
Located less than 50 kilometres (31 miles) from the centre of the capital, Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) is an imposing construction of 700,000 square metres (7.5 million square feet) arranged in the shape of a six-pointed star.
The airport, designed by the prestigious studio of architect Zaha Hadid, was inaugurated at the end of 2019 to become the airport with the largest terminal in the world.
How to get to Beijing from Daxing Airport
Transfer service

Taxi
The price of a taxi from Daxing Airport to the centre of Beijing is around ¥ 220 (US$ 30.40). The distance to the centre is 50 km (31 miles) and the journey lasts between 1 hour and 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Train
The train journey from the airport to Beijing West Railway Station is only 20 minutes. The train costs ¥ 30 (US$ 4.10) and has departures from 8:20 am until 10:50 pm.
Bus
Daxing Airport is served by 6 bus lines that make the journey to the centre of Beijing in approximately 80 minutes. The bus destinations are Beijing Railway Station (Beijing Central Station), Fangshan, Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station, Tongzhou and Xuanwu Gate.
Bus fares are ¥ 40 (US$ 5.50). 5 of the lines operate between 7:30 am and 11 pm, while the night line runs from 11:30pm until the last plane arrives.
